They require 4-8 years after planting to start producing dates, and the maximum yield in 7 to 10 years. The palm is a long tree with large leaves and can produce 70–140 kg of dates per harvest.

The fruits of peach palm comprise a length of 2.4″ (6 cm) and a diameter of 2” (5 cm) wide. The fruits are dropped down from the palm crown in clusters and bunches.
